A constant reflection on my creative self and my interactions with others.

I struggle to address and validate my wide array of creative interests.

Director's comments:

This stunning tableaux, a double-portrait by design, reveals a great many things as to the secrets this artist holds.

Just as the image shows two sides of Hoogveld's lithe body, we see she is a writer, a musician, and that she is comfortable and relaxed in her body and her environment.

From a technical standpoint, the lighting is from somewhere and everywhere at once, all objects are lit and alive.

The artist's pose is welcoming, relaxed, we have taken her from a journal entry, and as viewers we want to know what she has written.
