Artist's statement:

Kernstamm is an allusion to my grandfather's land of origin.

I used a newspaper from Austria in the background.

The three Tuckers are me, my father and my grandfather.

Purple is also a color of the popes.

There is a word under the pope: "pupst". That´s the german word for “to fart” ;-).

Above the pope is the word: “widerrufen”, that means revoked.

Everyone can think for himself or herslf the meaning.

Is the Church bad or good?

For me it is my way for a little criticsm.

Purple is also the color of extreme between famillar daily grind and the transition into the unknowing world of ghosts, demons and wraiths.

Science says if you eat cheese late before you go to bed, you will have a lot of bizarre dreams, and cheese was first produced by the monks.
