One of two studies of the night when Jesus and his disciples prayed before his coming crucifixion, as interpreted by Manhattan artist Clifford Johnson in 1955. This 13.5" H X 11" W pencil drawing on paper was accomplished in this artist's unique style of creating a tableaux, almost as a set designer, of his subject.
