With many miles and many days separating my lover and I, my unexpressed desires were lit ablaze.

The time crawled by as I resided in the empty spaces we once shared, taunted by my memories.

I surrendered to my camera all that I reluctantly contained, as I eagerly awaited his return.

With the release of her Panel No. 7, Hoogveld is clearly delving into the inner worlds of her desire, and her sexual energies.

Her remarkable double-exposure technique, and the swirling power that comprises the left-most images in this stunner, come to rest in the right-hand picture, like a caged lion that can be approached, but with caution.
